The teaser of the Note 12 series reveals that there will be three models will be launched. Additionally, they are made available in India. In China, the Redmi Note 12 series includes the Redmi Note 12 5G, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Here’s what we know so far about the smartphone series:

Redmi Note 12 5G Specifications

In terms of specifications, the smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch Samsung OLED FHD+ display panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a punch-hole cutout made for a selfie snapper. Under the hood, it powers on the Snapdragon 4 SoC with an octa-core chipset. Moreover, it runs Android 12-based MIUI 13.

Meanwhile, Redmi Note 12 5G camera specs include a 48-megapixel main camera located on the rear side. The phone also has a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8-megapixel selfie lens. Smartphone connectivity options include 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. In terms of battery, the new smartphone comes with a long-lasting 5,000 mAh.

Just like the vanilla Redmi Note 12 5G variant, this smartphone is also a dual SIM (Nano) 5G smartphone that runs on Android-12-based MIUI 13. However, this smartphone powers on octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. It can be coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and Mali-G68 GPU.

Redmi Note 12 Pro camera comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with support for optical image stabilization. It comes alongside an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Moreover, the facing camera on the Redmi Note 12 Pro is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ Specifications

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is similar to Redmi Note 12 Pro under the hood. However, it is sporting a 6.67-inch full-HD (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display that supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Unlike Redmi Note 12 5G vanilla variant, this Pro+ variant features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS capabilities, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. At the same time, it houses a 16-megapixel sensor front camera. The new Pro+ smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

The company is yet to confirm the India launch date. So we suggest you take this leak with a pinch of salt.
