How to share data on Airtel using Me2U
The Me2U which is also known as Airtel Data share is a special service that allows you to show love to your friends and families by sharing data with them. So far they are on the Airtel network and you can always share your data with them.
Me2U Registration
If you are a subscriber on the Airtel network, you do not have to register for the Me2U service. All active lines on the Airtel network can enjoy this service. To enjoy, all you have to do is change the default PIN that came with your line to a personal and secure PIN.
How do I access Me2U?
- To transfer or Share data with your families and friends, you can use the Me2U service on *141#.
- Select the Gift or share data option
- Enter the number of the person you want to send Data to.
Which data bundle plans are available for Me2U?
The regular data bundle plans available under the Airtel Me2U are the daily, weekly, monthly and mega pack. Therefore, you can choose your choice depending on your current data needs
What is the validity of Airtel shared data bundle
Your shared data bundle will have the same validity as your original data bundle. For example, if your bundle is meant to expire on the 18th of July, your shared data will also expire on the 18th of July.
How many people can I share with?
You can share with at least 2 recipients on a daily basis. This means you can share 200MB with your recipients. Another thing is that you can share your data with someone else only after the person has finished the first shared bundle.
How to borrow data from Airtel
The Airtel credit loan allows you to borrow data from AIrtel, and back on your next recharge. Eligible customers that borrow data include:
- Airtel Prepaid customers with registered SIM Card
- Customers who have paid up any loan, and the associated charges
- Also, they consider customers based on their monthly recharge frequency and average spend.
To know if you are eligible, dial *500#. If you are eligible. You will be able to borrow data else you will be prompted with Recharge at least N100 monthly to qualify.
